Kerio Technologies opens Australian office

Posted: 27 April 2011

Kerio Technologies, Inc. reported the opening of a new office in St Leonards, Sydney.

Kerio has been steadily increasing sales and support resources for the region since 2009, and the new office represents a long-term commitment to Australia.

Kerio's new office will better enable the company to conduct joint partner seminars and technical training days about Kerio's messaging, voice, collaboration and security solutions. With more than 300 partners in Australia, Kerio has established itself as a premier IT solution provider for SMBs.

"We know it is critical to offer direct local support to our reseller channel and the new office will bring an even closer connection to partners who are selling and supporting our products," said Abi Vickram, channel manager for Kerio in Australia.

"We look forward to welcoming not only our Sydney-based partners, but those from Melbourne, Brisbane and New Zealand as well."

In May 2010, Kerio hosted the Kerio Partner forum in Sydney for Australian SMB-focused IT resellers and integrators. In June 2011, Kerio will host its second Partner forum, which will feature presentations from industry and sales experts as well as an introduction to enhancements to Kerio's product line. This year, Kerio has added two new products for SMBs: Kerio Operator, a VoIP solution; and Kerio Workspace, a sharing and collaboration tool.

"Congratulations to Kerio for opening new offices in a great location in Sydney," said Jason Drew, technical director, Secom Technologies.

"For us, this will make it easier to reach the Kerio Australian team for product training and support for end-customers."
