Reliant Energy picks Schematic

Schematic, a WPP Digital company, has been selected by Reliant Energy to develop and implement its next generation interactive initiatives as Digital Agency of Record.
The Reliant account marks Schematic’s entry into the energy category and leverages the agency’s deep expertise in user interface design, application development and large-scale technology integration to deliver a custom made solution for Reliant’s fast-growing audience of energy conscious consumers.
For the Reliant account, Schematic has been tapped to develop a multi-platform digital program that allows customers to better manage their energy usage with a suite of powerful, yet intuitive and easy-to-use online tools. The initiative encompasses technology application design and Website development with the goal of empowering customers to be smarter and more informed energy users.
Schematic will also create an overall branding campaign for Reliant including message development, interactive advertising, social media outreach and strategic partnerships, and will collaborate
closely with Reliant’s traditional media and marketing agencies.

The Reliant initiative builds upon Schematic’s successful 2008, in which the firm rang up record revenues and introduced groundbreaking initiatives for clients including NBC Universal, Turner, Microsoft and Target.
