Energy Solutions International acquires CriticalControl's PipeWorks

Energy Solutions International, a Houston-based privately owned software company and leading provider of solutions for oil and gas pipeline management, has acquired the PipeWorks division of CriticalControl Solutions Corp. of Canada.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition strengthens EnergySolutions’ position in providing software solutions for liquid pipeline operators, in addition to its long-standing leadership in gas pipeline operations.
In business for more than 30 years, EnergySolutions designs and delivers operational and commercial solutions for both gas and liquids pipeline management through a comprehensive software suite featuring design, planning, leak detection, monitoring, scheduling, optimization, transaction and risk management.
PipeWorks, a division of CriticalControl, provides a highly integrated suite of software products created and supported by a team of experienced pipeline hydraulics specialists. Their focus is to help companies succeed by providing reliable tools for the batch scheduling and leak detection aspects of their business.
