Mincom acquires US utility solution provider Conversant

Acquisition strengthens software solution and service capabilities to the global Utilities industry
Mincom Limited, the largest stand-alone Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution provider globally, has acquired the customer information and billing systems business of Conversant, a developer of utility industry software solutions.
This acquisition reinforces Mincom’s commitment to the Utility industry by significantly enhancing its software solution offering and service delivery capabilities.
Conversant supplies a range of innovative software and services to manage customer care and billing functions for utilities and energy service providers worldwide, all aimed at improving efficiencies and lowering costs.
Its award-winning and industry recognised Customer Information System (CIS), CustomerWatchTM, is the first 100 per cent Java developed and production proven CIS solution in the market.
By adding Conversant’s CIS solution, together with its specialised utility billing solutions, Mincom is now poised to deliver an end-to-end solution to the global utilities industry.

Mr Royal, will lead the new business unit as Vice President of Utility Solutions.
