Intergraph’s G/Technology to set standards for New Zealand electrical industry

Intergraph Corporation reported that Northpower Ltd. of New Zealand has selected Intergraph’s G/Technology to streamline operations and optimise decision support among its network lines division.

“After reviewing our options for geospatial records management, we determined Intergraph best able to meet our stringent requirements,” said Lloyd Cox, Network Information Analyst, Northpower, New Zealand.

“Intergraph’s solution was specifically tailored for the New Zealand electricity market and leverages Intergraph’s proven expertise in data conversion, a strong requirement for the project. With the flexibility of G/Technology, we can ensure better management of our distribution network and ensure high-quality service to our customers.”

Northpower has also joined New Zealand’s Electric Club, a collaborative effort between Intergraph and some electric utilities to define a set of standards for G/Technology that support the business and legal requirements of the New Zealand electricity industry.

“Intergraph’s G/Technology has proven to be highly successful with electricity providers in New Zealand and around the world,” said Tim Mahoney, vice president, Asia Pacific, Security, Government & Infrastructure.

“We remain committed to providing cutting-edge technology and reliable professional services — providing a comprehensive solution that not only meets customer requirements, but far exceeds them.”
