Roxar appoints new Americas regional manager for Flow Measurement Division

Roxar reported that Paul Khuri is to become the company’s new Regional Manager for the Americas for its Flow Measurement Division.

Paul’s brief will be to spearhead Roxar’s continued growth in South America, the United States and Canada, strengthen existing customer relationships and increase market penetration for Roxar’s industry leading topside and subsea flow measurement solutions.

The Roxar portfolio consists of an extensive topside and subsea product range. Flagship products include the Roxar Multiphase meter, designed to continuously measure the flow rates of oil, water and gas in the well stream without the need for separation; the Roxar Wetgas meter, the latest in wet gas metering technology; and the Roxar Sand monitor, an ultra compact, system for monitoring the production of sand.

Paul comes to Roxar with extensive experience in project management and leadership development in both the oil and gas and military aerospace sectors. Prior to joining Roxar, Paul was Senior Project Manager in the Offshore Systems Division of Cooper Cameron Inc, a leading international manufacturer of oil and gas pressure control equipment, where he was responsible for the profitability, schedule and quality of Cooper Cameron’s major subsea components. Paul led the production team on the first ever all-electric subsea production system - a winner of the 2005 Offshore Technology Conference Spotlight Award.

Previous positions which Paul has held include Director of Asset Planning, Regulated Power Operations at Reliant Energy Inc and 13 years working for the US Air Force in Aerospace Engineering and Project Management.

From 1999 to 2001, Paul was Project Manager and Budget Officer for the F22 aircraft, the Air Force’s number one priority program valued at US$70 billion.

Paul has Master of Science in Management at the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
