Honeywell has appointed Larry Perkins as new Regional General Manager for Honeywell Process Solutions’ operations in the Middle East.
Perkins, who will be based in Abu Dhabi, will be responsible for further strengthening and growing the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) business in the region, with a particular emphasis on building on existing business relations with partners and customers across the region. He will report to Paul Orzeske, Vice President and General Manager, Honeywell Process Solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“With Larry’s broad experience and his excellent track record of delivering profitable growth for HPS in the United States, Europe and Asia, he will be extremely valuable in driving the growth of HPS in the Middle East,” said Orzeske. “This appointment further underscores the increasingly strategic importance of this region to Honeywell.”
Perkins joined HPS in 1987 and has held a variety of management positions, including General Management, Program and Project Management. Most recently, he was Managing Director of ZAO Honeywell in Russia. Perkins has a chemical engineering degree from the University of Okalahoma, USA.
Perkins succeeds Hussain Al-Atrakchi, who has taken up a new position as Director, Strategic Accounts and Business Partners for Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).
Additionally, Bo Stanley was appointed as new HPS Manager Project Operations to drive local project execution and customer relationships, reporting to Thomas Mayer, HPS Operations Director, EMEA. Stanley was Manager of Operations Planning in Houston, Texas and has been with Honeywell since 2000.
“ Middle East companies in the process industries have ever-changing automation and strategic needs,” said Orzeske. “These appointments will allow Honeywell to better understand the needs of Middle East customers and to help them solve their technology challenges through applying Honeywell solutions,” added Orzeske.
