Sasol Mining and the United People's Union of South Africa (UPUSA) reported an end to the twelve day long strike at Sasol Mining in Secunda.
Both parties have agreed that employees will return to work for the afternoon shift on Thursday 25 October 2007.
The industrial action was resolved at a meeting between Elphas Ntuli, national chairperson of UPUSA, and Herman Wenhold, MD of Sasol Mining. It was mutually agreed to call off the current UPUSA industrial action with immediate effect.
The two leaders will meet again soon to focus on strengthening future relationships between Sasol Mining and UPUSA.
