Our client, a world leader in power generation products and allied services, is seeking experienced Field Engineers.
The primary purpose of the position is to perform specific field assignments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on field service of power delivery and drives and control equipment, conducting power system studies and design, project management, site technical direction and leadership during maintenance installation, start-up, commissioning and maintenance to customer-owned and industrial facilities;
- Industrial facilities include power generation, marine, petrochemical, paper, steel, automotive and transportation industries;
- Liaising effectively with service manager utilising customers' CTQ in job planning and execution;
- Troubleshooting electrical operations and maintenance problems in the drives, control and power distribution technologies;
- Preparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and minimum of 8 years experience on gas turbines.
You will have advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Applications and online applications with high mobility and willingness to adapt and accept changing environment. You will be willing to travel.
