MPGC 2008, Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference 2008
6 - 8 April :: Doha, Qatar
Held under the the Patronage of H.E. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Premier, Minister for Energy & Industry, & Chairman of Qatar Petroleum, and with Qatar Petroleum as hosts.
The MPGC 2008 agenda will address demand/supply trends in the global oil markets, with emphasis on resource nationalism, emerging constraints in both OPEC/Non-OPEC production, cost escalations in both upstream and downstream sectors, amidst growing concerns of a global refining surplus and its impact on regional product balances.
The impact of political uncertainties, new supplies and shifts in buying/selling patterns in natural gas/LNG and the new world of oil trading brought on by the futures markets, the role of Oman and widening WTI-Brent differentials will also receive coverage.
More than 40 senior echelon oil industry speakers, including chief executives/senior decision and policy makers and government officials from the international majors, national oil companies, refiners and traders in the region are expected to address the event.
Providing an excellent forum for discussions and an exchange of views on the future of the global oil markets, MPGC is the key vehicle for industry interaction in the Middle East for oil & energy industry executives, economists, & bankers.
