The Artex Group forms new wireline refurbishment unit

The Artex Group LLC reported the formation of a new refurbishment unit to be located in Brenham, Texas.

"We are very excited about the future opportunities that our increased focus on this market segment will generate," said Steve Wilson Co-Founder.

"Our customers have always been able to rely on Artex for quality products and services and this new unit will be no exception."

The Artex Group of wireline related manufacturing and distribution companies provide trucks, skids, cased hole tools and perforating systems to every major oil field worldwide.

Gross sales for 2011 will exceed $30 million with a substantial growth plan in place.

"An ever changing environment in the oil and gas industry requires wireline service companies to make economic and timely decisions when it comes to the utilization of assets," said Michael Groves, newly appointed Artex General Manager.

"This new unit and its expanded service offerings will allow our clients make these timely, economic decisions when it comes to refurbishing older units or buying new ones.

"We are backing-up our commitment to this new venture with the addition of a highly trained staff and a dedicated facilities infrastructure that will allow for future growth, workflow solutions and our quality of service initiatives."
