Record attendance for ADIPEC

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research toured ADIPEC 2010 (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference)

"The record number of attendees signal that ADIPEC is top of the regional and international industry agenda and, as an event that has been sold out for eight months, we are confident this biannual exhibition and conference will grow from strength to strength to eventually become the world’s biggest and best event for networking, knowledge share and innovation."
Attendance levels over day one and two have broken previous records with an impressive flood of more than 28,000 attendees in the first two days.
Organised by dmg :: events, ADIPEC 2010 experienced record attendance over the 2008 event, as more than 17,000 people were on site on the November 1 opening day, and 11,000 on day 2.
ADIPEC in the first two days has featured 1500 exhibiting companies, 18 key sessions of presentations, more than 100 poster sessions and three major panels including a packed room of attendees to listen to the Executive Plenary Session (moderated by ADIPEC Chairman Abdul Munim Saif Al-Kindy, ADCO, with keynote speakers Ahmed Rashid Al-Arbeed, Dana Gas; Andrew P. Swiger, ExxonMobil; Didier Houssin, IEA; Paal Kibsgaard, Schlumberger; Yves-Louis Darricarrère Total).
